Ministry Opportunities
Serving is more about who we are! We do things to serve people in specific ways, but we are first and foremost servants who humbly respond to God's call to love others at any moment of any day. With that in mind, there are areas of ministry that need volunteers where God may lead you to serve.

Greeters serve one week a month as they welcome GracePoint attendees as the door each week with a smile.
Ushers serve in the Sanctuary during one service per month. They hand out bulletins, assist people searching for seats, and take the offering.
Sunday morning information teams are found throughout the building–outside the Sanctuary and across from the downstairs entrance. They can point you in the right direction, help you to register for activities, and provide assistance.
Shuttle Drivers make trips each Sunday morning to local universities and assisted living centers.
We are looking for a couple of people to take leadership of the Café this school year. We could also use a few more team members who are willing to work once Sunday morning every two months. Maybe your whole family or friend group would like to adopt a Sunday to serve in the Café!
The children’s ministry can use help in a variety of areas on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings, as well as prepping materials throughout the week. Serve with all ages from infant through 5th grade.
- Lily Pad (6 weeks through 4 years old)
- Sunday School
- Point Seekers (Pre-K through 1st grade during the sermon)
- Point Finders (2nd-5th grade during the sermon)
- Wednesday night AWANA Program (3 years old through 5th grade)
The Middle and High School programs are always on the lookout for people with a heart for teenagers. If this is you, submit a form below and our youth team will reach out to see if you are a good fit for their openings.

Our women’s ministry leads Bible studies and hosts events that connect the women of GracePoint.
Have a heart for men’s ministry? Join the leadership team and make a difference in the lives of men in our church.
We are looking for people who are willing to lead a short-term small group or host one in their home. This would be a bi-weekly commitment through the fall.
The Funeral Meal Team helps prepare, serve, and clean up for funerals held here at GracePoint. You’ll get an email when there is a funeral coming up and respond to let us know if you can help.
We are looking for a few people with a medical background (EMS, nursing, etc) who could be on call on Sundays in case of a medical emergency here at church.
Help around the building and grounds either by signing up for the Landscaping Team or coming to help the Monday Morning Crew work on projects around the building (8:30-11:30am every Monday).
Love books? We are forming a small Library Team to cover the library needs here at GracePoint.
The choir meets to rehearse weekly on Wednesday evenings
The Instruments of Praise orchestra plays occasionally throughout the year with periodic rehearsals on Saturdays.
The Handbell Choir rehearses weekly on Wednesday evenings.
Our Modern Worship Team is a rotation of musicians that serves through music (Thursday rehearsal).
The tech team could use help with operating the cameras for the livestream once a month. Teens are welcome!
Sign up for the new Serve Squad to be on the list of those we contact when attendees needs assistance with moving, etc.
The Care Crew assists shut-ins with transportation needs.
Join the new Community Outreach Team and assist with outreaches like Walk a Mile and Salvation Army Bell Ringing.
