Women's Ministries

Our goal is to support GracePoint’s mission of “Reaching Out While Transforming Within for the Glory of God” by providing opportunities to mature and build women’s faith.

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
~ Hebrews 10:24-25

A variety of activities are offered to  develop servant leaders through teaching, companionship and mentorship, encouragement, prayer, service and outreach with the goal for all women to become complete in Christ.  Please sign up at the Events Desk, choose the appropriate online registration link, or send an email or call the appropriate contact listed below.

Fall Kickoff: Just Breathe

September 17, 6:30-8:30pm  |  GracePoint Sanctuary

Let's begin the ministry year at the church with an evening of reflective worship, a relevant devotion, and good food. Do you feel like you're operating at 90 mph to get through your day? God's Word reminds us to just breathe and come and rest at His feet. Come for an evening of discovering how you can plug in, connect with others, and learn from God's Word this year.

In the days of Jeremiah, Israel's spiritual conditino was much like our nation's today. God chose Jeremiah to call people to turn from sin and idolatry and return to Him. Facing unbelievable opposition, Jeremiah warned the people who wouldn't listen to God's holy wrath that would soon be poured out.

Inductive study uses the Bible as the primary source to learn about God and what it teaches. This study method is an investigative approach to the bible using three basic components: observation, interpretation, and application. All homework will be done in class.

 Thursday Morning
Mom's Morning Out
:

Every Thursday Morning, beginning Sept. 27
• 9:30-11:00 a.m. • Rooms 132/133

Mom’s Morning Out is a time of fellowship, study and sharing for young moms. We will begin the year with the study called "Befriend" by Scott Sauls. Is real friendship too risky? We live in a world where real friendship is hard to find. Suspicious of others and insecure about ourselves, we retreat to the safety of our small, self-made digital worlds. Jesus models a much richer vision of friendship. Pastor and teacher Scott Sauls invites Christians to see the breadth of Christ's love toward people we often avoid.

In this 6-session series, Scott outlines principles for befiending those around us with the love of Jesus.
