Women's Ministries

Our goal is to support GracePoint’s mission of “Reaching Out While Transforming Within for the Glory of God” by providing opportunities to mature and build women’s faith.

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

A variety of activities are offered to  develop servant leaders through teaching, companionship and mentorship, encouragement, prayer, service and outreach with the goal for all women to become complete in Christ.  Please sign up at the Events Desk, choose the appropriate online registration link, or send an email or call the appropriate contact listed below.



Women's Bible Study Options

Each fall and spring during the school year Women's Ministry launches several different Bible studies.

For the fall of 2019:

• Every-other Monday Evening Inductive Study:

     “Jude: Contend for the Faith” by Kay Arthur  |  Cost = $9
     5 sessions
     Childcare is not available

• Every-other Monday Evening  - OR -
   Every-other Tuesday Morning
   DVD Bible Study
:

     “The Quest” by Beth Moore   |  Cost = $18
     6 sessions
     Childcare is not available

• Every Thursday Morning
   Mom's Morning Out Study
:

     “40 Verses to Ignite Your Faith” by Laurie Polich Short   |   $10
     Childcare is available

Other Women's Ministry Activities

Quilting and Sewing: this group meets to work on joint or individual projects. Bring your sewing machine, sewing tools, fabrics & notions. Come for one or both days, and stay as long as you like. New people, beginners to experienced, old and young are welcome.

Next Sewing Session:   November 8-9, 2019

• Friday: 8a - 8p.

   Bring a bag lunch for noon
   Bring a salad if you want to join the potluck supper

• Saturday: 8a - 4p.

Knit Unto Others:

Come join us for a time of knitting or crocheting hats, scarves and other winter accessories to be donated to Living Hope Ministries in Northeast Mpls. It's a great time of fellowship while providing warmth for those in need. Many of us come at 12:15 to enjoy lunch together before we get to work. All are welcome.
