Initial Steps

GracePoint Church rents its facility for weddings and receptions to its members, their immediate family members, and regular attendees who adhere to GracePoint’s biblical standard for marriage and Affirmation of Faith. Any party renting the facility must agree to abide by the wedding policies of GracePoint Church.

How much does it cost to rent GracePoint’s facility for my wedding and what is included?

Ceremony & Reception: $950-$1150 (including Security Deposit).

Ceremony Only: $600 (including Security Deposit)

Security Deposit: The $300 security deposit is used to secure your wedding date on GracePoint’s calendar. If all aspects of the policies are met, the security deposit will be refunded 100% following your wedding. Failure to abide by the policies may forfeit a portion or entire amount.

Additional Fees: Officiating Pastor, Sound Technician, Wedding Coordinator, Musicians, etc.

What is the first step in the process to get married at GracePoint?

Prior to submitting your application, reach out to the Officiating Pastor to receive confirmation and availability. Next, review the Wedding Packet and complete your online application here.  

When do I have access to the building for my wedding?

For weddings and receptions held at GracePoint, the wedding party is permitted access to the building no earlier than 7:30am on the wedding day and 8:00am on the day before. No access to the building is permitted during regularly scheduled church activities. If additional times are required for set-up or decorating, these must be scheduled and approved by GracePoint 30 days in advance. Doors will be unlocked at times designated on the Facility Use Request form.

If you will be having your reception at GracePoint, building closing time is 11pm for Friday weddings and 9pm for Saturday weddings. Any item or person left in the building following the building closing time (or the ending time on the Facility Use Request form) will result in a fee.

Do I need to be a member to get married at GracePoint?

GracePoint welcomes its members, their immediate family, and regular attenders (has attended approximately two services a month for the past six months) to hold their wedding celebration in its facility.

Do you allow weddings on days other than Saturday?
  • We allow weddings and receptions on Fridays and Saturdays.
  • If you are planning to have your wedding on a day other than Friday or Saturday, please indicate that on your application.
  • Weddings on Sundays, during the Advent Season, and the week before and after Easter are generally not permitted.

We will do our best to accommodate your wedding.

Do you allow catering?

We allow outside catering and vendors with a certificate of liability insurance. Outside caterers must abide by the open/close times listed on the FUR form. 

Is there anything prohibited on GracePoint’s property?

The consumption or use of alcohol, tobacco, vaping, marijuana or illicit drugs are not allowed on GracePoint’s property.

What is the max capacity for a wedding?

Sanctuary: 375 total ( Main floor: 242; Balcony: 133)

Fellowship Hall Reception: 160-190 Total

Gym Reception: 464 total (including the alcove)
