GracePoint is committed to our children. As we plan our lessons, prepare materials, and have fun in our programs, we pray that the kids hear the deliberate message of just how much God loves them!
During the school year we have programs for ages 6 weeks - 5th grade on both Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings (AWANA).
During the summer, we insure that children ages 6 weeks - 4 years old are well cared for and have a positive experience in the Lily Pad on Sunday mornings.
- Activity bags are provided for children older than 4 years old during the summer so that they can enjoy the worship service with their family.
- We also have an overflow room if families are more comfortable worshipping there when their children are with them.
GracePoint has an experienced and dedicated staff of pastors, leaders, and volunteers in its Children’s Ministries. We eagerly look forward to coming alongside you in providing the very best Christian education and example for your child.
We want to ensure the utmost safety for each child. Therefore, we provide training for our teachers and volunteers and also perform background checks. We also require that you follow our check-in and check-out procedures so that children are returned to their proper guardian.
Would you like to volunteer with kids?
Our Children's Ministry volunteers are the reason our kids can encounter Jesus every time we gather. By keeping kids safe, by offering an encouraging word, and creating a fun atmosphere, our volunteers make GracePoint the place kids love to be. There are many volunteer roles you can take on. In The Point, you can be a classroom assistant. In the Lily Pad, you can hold babies or play with toddlers while listening to upbeat Christian songs for kids. During Wednesday night clubs, you can be a listener to encourage kids to memorize Scripture or be a group leader or assistant.
GracePoint Church makes every effort to provide a safe place for kids. Volunteers are required to have a current background check and complete training.
