August 14

Twins vs. Pirates: Cost = $20

We're heading out to the ballgame to watch the Twins take on the Pirates!

We'll have some food at GPC just outside of the Bridge. We will start the grills at 5pm and should have food ready by 5:30pm. Come and grab a burger or a hotdog before the game. We will depart GPC at 6pm from the east lot and return by 11pm. Limited tickets so hurry and register!

Cost = $20

August 19

Freshman Night Out: Cost = $25

This low-key event is designed to orient your new freshman students with the youth group and introduce them to some of the upperclassmen. Both the Jr. and Sr. High Pastors will be there and several upperclassmen to welcome your student into Sr. High and help them make the transition.

We're meeting at the church at 2pm on Sunday, August 19, and heading to Lilli Put for some mini golf fun. Then we'll head to a service project (bring close-toed shoes and clothes you don't mind getting a little dirty), then we'll share a dinner together and a bonfire with dessert. We'll end at 9:30pm at Nathan's House in Mounds View.

Junior High & Senior High Ministries during the school year

"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity." 1 Timothy 4:12

Junior and senior high school students have many ways to get involved in worship, service, friendships and exciting activities at GracePoint.  We have special Sunday school classes for junior high and senior high students, and a facility known as “The Bridge,” which is a great place for youth to hang out.  The Bridge is across the parking lot from our gym.

Sunday morning classes meet at 9:45 a.m.
• High school (Bridge) and
• Junior high (Loft)

Junior High Students (during the school year)

Wednesday night programming - 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

Junior High is a time in a student’s life where they are pulled in every direction, from home, friends, activities, and school. Our programming at GracePoint is formatted to provide stability in their lives. We offer a Wednesday night program from 6:30 – 8:00pm during the school year where students can come play a large group game for 30 minutes, and then receive some words of wisdom in a 20-25 minute large group teaching time.  The evening is concluded by breaking out into small groups; separated by age and gender. This group is where friendships are formed and developed that we hope will last a lifetime.

We also offer Sunday morning teachings in our 180° class, which help students explore how to become more alive in Christ and how He applies to their lives in their current stage of growth.  We also offer fun events, as well as retreats, and service projects that go on throughout the year.  There is always a way to connect to other students your age at GracePoint and we strive to be a place “Where everyone is accepted.” Come check us out.
