Missions & Evangelism

In Habakkuk 1:5, the Lord says, "Look among the nations! Observe! Be astonished! Wonder! Because I am doing something in your day, you would not believe if you were told."

Jesus’ last command to his disciples was to "GO into all the world and preach the Gospel, making disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit". (Matthew 28:18) His last command - is our first priority!

God is always working to extend the message of His salvation to the ends of the earth. Graciously, He has allowed GracePoint to participate with Him in this mission. This church has been a solid presence in overseas missions for years, and now it is expanding its reach into new areas around the world and providing new ways for the Collective family to get involved.

Short-Term Missions Opportunity – Share Your Faith in Barranquilla Colombia

OCTOBER 14 to 21, 2017
(Saturday to Saturday)

Purpose: Evangelism and Discipleship ministry side‐by‐side with Colombian host leaders and churches, to target neighborhoods where they are starting and/or strengthening simple mission churches.

Model: You will work with a Colombian translator to share your testimony and the gospel of Jesus Christ ‐ primarily using the simple, effective tool of the EvangeCube. By the way, most of our team members do not primarily view themselves as 'gifted evangelists'! But all of us can share the gospel effectively in Colombia.

Medical: This team will also include a medical outreach component. This DOES NOT mean the entire trip is focused on medical ministry. Rather it means we will have a sub‐team of medical personnel who will be sharing the love of Jesus Christ through providing basic medical care in several of the communities where we will be working to share the gospel and establish churches. We are welcoming all aspects of medical volunteers. For more information for this dimension of the trip, please contact Priscilla Nicoara – priscilla.nicoara@e3partners.org; cell: 214‐621‐9277.

Cost: $2,900. You can personally give the funds, and/or as most people do, you can raise financial support for your ministry. All donations are tax deductible. When you sign up on‐line, you will be assigned a 'fund raising page' on our website. Use the link to your page to share with friends and family. GracePoint scholarships are available. Email Sherri Naylor at naylorsherri@gmail.com

Use of Funds: The funds you raise will cover airfare, hotel, meals, travel insurance, ground transportation and materials. Our budget also supports the mobilization of 3 or 4 Colombians working with us for every North American. The budget also provides follow up funding to help the indigenous ministry after the expedition.

Safety: We are working very carefully with discernment and wisdom. We are working in Barranquilla, which is a major urban center on the north coast of the country. We are ALWAYS with Colombian brothers and sisters in Christ and with one another in our teams. All communities where we are working are pre‐qualified and viable locations for us to serve. And all of our teams conclude their work in the communities before dark.
