Care / Help

Pastoral Care

Pastoral care at GracePont involves a wide variety of ministerial services that extend the love
and compassion of Christ to persons who are facing a crisis or major change in life.

Pastor Mark Watkins, our Pastor of Care, gives personal attention and leadership to this area of
Christian care giving that also finds expression in the collective ministries of all our staff, and
through significant lay administered services.

Lay ministries that provide significant services of care at GracePoint include; Stephen Ministry, HelpPoint, ChristCare groups and Life Enrichment Classes. While our major endeavors are directed to those within our congregation, we offer ministry to those beyond our congregation who are open to the grace of God in the midst of their need.

Additional volunteers are welcome and needed! Examples of short term services are; Emergency child care, errands, laundry, light housekeeping, meals, minor repairs/handyman help, respite care, shopping, transportation, keep-in-touch visits, and yard work.
